Just a quick note to let you know that the newest version of GoAruna Files for iPhone and iTouch (iOS) is available. There are a bunch of new features and improvements in this release and it is well worth for you to upgrade. Here are the changes in GoAruna Files v1.1:

- New Download by URL feature lets you directly download a file from the Internet when you know it’s exact URL
- New Download by browser feature lets you browse the Internet in a special browser and download files to GoAruna on your iOS device (the regular Safari iOS browser doesn’t allow downloads)
- New Upload by email feature lets you upload files to your GoAruna online storage by sending a regular email from any email account
- Transfers now run in the background (uploads, downloads and file sends)
- “Open In” function to open files from other apps into GoAruna
- “Open in” from GoAruna to open files in other apps
- Added single click, double tap and long press actions to improve versatility and usability
- Create a GoAruna account directly from the GoAruna app (useful for new users)
- Many changes and improvements to the user interface and usability
- Bug fixes

The GoAruna iPhone file manager can be downloaded from the Apple iTunes app store.

The latest version of the GoAruna iPhone file manager is now live in the iPhone section of the iTunes store.  The main improvements is multitasking for those running the latest iOS4 operating system on your iPhone or iTouch device.   Also noteworthy is a bug fix that some of you were having rendering and displaying jpeg images.  The release notes are below.

- Fix an image preview bug
- Fix download and play bug
- Upgrade video player API level

The Japanese translation for GoAruna Files iPhone has now gone live in the iPhone app store.  It is available for download immediately.

Earlier this week, Archivos GoAruna went live in the iTunes app store.  Archivos GoAruna is our Spanish language iPhone app for file management, cloud storage, file sharing and file viewing on the iPhone.

GoAruna files for iPhone is available for free in the Apple iTunes app store.

Our Android file manager app is also available in Spanish in the Android app market.  (search GoAruna Files in the Android Market)

If you don’t have a GoAruna account yet, you can get a free online storage account (and use of all our mobile apps) with 2GB of storage.  Sign up first and then download the iPhone app.  We also obviously have web access and desktop apps for Windows, Mac and Linux.

In our latest release of GoAruna Files (v 0.9.4) for the Apple iPhone and iTouch, we have added Traditional Chinese language. Now you can have the entire user interface in Traditional Chinese.

The new version of GoAruna Files for iPhone with Traditional Chinese is available now from the iTunes store.

We will also be adding Traditional Chinese to the GoAruna Android app in the near future.

This week we released a new version of GoAruna files for the iPhone and iTouch. The version number is v 0.9.4 and has the following changes.

- Add a new page which supports selection and management of multiple photos from the iPhone photo library. Add functions to upload, send, email multiple photos from the photo library.
- Copy contacts from the GoAruna Address book to iPhone address book.
- Add refresh function in a single folder in Internet files (GoAruna files) to retrieve items in sub-folders
- Improve searching within a list in Internet files
- New feature to delete all files in My Downloads on the iPhone device
- Add Traditional Chinese language version

The main features revolve around working with multiple files:

- Select multiple files at once
- Perform actions like share, copy, move, upload, download, delete, email etc. on multiple files
- There is a new progress page for viewing the status of multiple file operations with options to cancel each task or cancel all
- Multiple files operations can be performed on both Internet files (files in the cloud in your GoAruna account) or on your local iPhone files

Many have been asking when GoAruna would be available on the iPhone / iTouch platform.

Well, it has arrived.  Today GoAruna Files for iPhone and iTouch was promoted to and is now live in the Apple iTunes app store.  Now you can have all your files with you wherever you (and your iPhone) go!

Here is an overview of the main functions for the new GoAruna iPhone:

- Manage, access and share your files in your GoAruna Account (if you don’t have one, you can get one for free at GoAruna.com )
- Download and view your GoAruna files stored in the cloud on your iPhone
- View downloaded files like images, music, video, text, rtf, pdf and Microsoft documents (doc, xls, ppt)
- Manage your local iPhone files even if you don’t have a network connection
- Easily upload your existing images and photos on your iPhone for safe keeping, storage, safe keeping and sharing
- Works on both on wireless and cellular networks

iPhone or iTouch OS v3.0 or higher is required so if you haven’t updated your software, now is the time, just goto iTunes plug in your iPhone or iTouch and follow the upgrade prompts.

We are obviously excited about the GoAruna app itself but also about the iPhone platform and improved user experience it can offer you.
