We recently launched a feature to our home page for you to quickly send files in other languages.

In the past, if you wanted to send a file to someone in France (for example), you could do it but the email notification they got was in English.  Now we change that, now you can choose the language that the notification email is sent in.  For our example above, the file is being sent to someone in France that you know doesn’t speak English, so you just select French and they will be notified in their native French language, that you sent them a file.

Send large files in the language of your choice

Just goto GoAruna.com, fill the form to send a file as usual and change the language here. The email your recipient gets will be in the language you chose.

The languages for the new file sending in local languages are:
Chinese (Traditional)
Danish
Dutch
English
Finnish
French
German
Italian
Japanese
Korean
Norwegian
Portuguese (Brazil)
Spanish
Swedish

We are also working to translate the whole GoAruna web interface into many languages for you.  We will post more on this larger translation effort as soon as news is available.  In the meantime…

Happy file sending in 14 languages!

In our latest release of GoAruna Files (v 0.9.4) for the Apple iPhone and iTouch, we have added Traditional Chinese language. Now you can have the entire user interface in Traditional Chinese.

The new version of GoAruna Files for iPhone with Traditional Chinese is available now from the iTunes store.

We will also be adding Traditional Chinese to the GoAruna Android app in the near future.

Today we have released an updated version of our file sending plugin for the firefox web browser.

GoAruna plugin for Firefox allows you to quickly upload and send a file to anyone with an email address.

This plugin has been in use since 2007 and we will continue to update it going forward to make your file sending experience the best we can.

Of course the GoAruna file sending plugin for Firefox is free.  Go grab it now and start sending large files right from your browser!

You may have noticed the button on the bottom of the GoAruna main page that says Mobile Applications.  It is what it sounds like, we have been working on making your GoAruna files available anywhere you might be.

The first two platforms that are being released are Windows Mobile and Symbian.  Both are available for download now here.

We are currently planning on also releasing GoAruna file hosting and sharing on Google’s Android platform and RIM’s Blackberry.

It has been less than a week (only 4 days!) since we launched the Aruna Send widget for Yahoo! and we are happy to report it has been downloaded over 1000 times already.
