iPhone File Manager Gets Even Easier to Use

We have a quick update on the latest release of the GoAruna iPhone file manager.   This version (v1.1.1) brings some cosmetic UI changes and some cool functions to your iPhone.

-  New dark background theme.  Now easy on your eyes when you are in the dark or at night.  
-  Icon view.  View thumbnails of images so you can find the pictures you are looking for more easily.  You can toggle icon and list view in the settings dialogue. 
-  View image thumbnails on your online storage without having to download the original file to your iPhone first.  
-  Capture a photo and upload.  Just point and shoot and your photo(s) will be saved and uploaded automatically to your GoAruna cloud storage account.  
-  New text note and upload.  Create a new text file and when you save it, it will be uploaded to your online storage for future access from other devices or the web.

If you don’t have GoAruna Files for iPhone yet, you can get it for free in the Apple iTunes store.  It is the best way to manage your iPhone files, documents and media both in the cloud and your iPhone.

iPhone File Manager Update – Tons of New Features

Just a quick note to let you know that the newest version of GoAruna Files for iPhone and iTouch (iOS) is available. There are a bunch of new features and improvements in this release and it is well worth for you to upgrade. Here are the changes in GoAruna Files v1.1:

- New Download by URL feature lets you directly download a file from the Internet when you know it’s exact URL
- New Download by browser feature lets you browse the Internet in a special browser and download files to GoAruna on your iOS device (the regular Safari iOS browser doesn’t allow downloads)
- New Upload by email feature lets you upload files to your GoAruna online storage by sending a regular email from any email account
- Transfers now run in the background (uploads, downloads and file sends)
- “Open In” function to open files from other apps into GoAruna
- “Open in” from GoAruna to open files in other apps
- Added single click, double tap and long press actions to improve versatility and usability
- Create a GoAruna account directly from the GoAruna app (useful for new users)
- Many changes and improvements to the user interface and usability
- Bug fixes

iPhone File Manager – Now with iOS4 Multitasking

The latest version of the GoAruna iPhone file manager is now live in the iPhone section of the iTunes store.  The main improvements is multitasking for those running the latest iOS4 operating system on your iPhone or iTouch device.   Also noteworthy is a bug fix that some of you were having rendering and displaying jpeg images.  The release notes are below.

Another tidbit you will be interested to know is that we are working hard behind the scenes to revamp and make major improvements to GoAruna’s iPhone file management capabilities.  You will be seeing more improvements and releases of the GoAruna iPhone file manager in the coming weeks.

- Fix an image preview bug

- Upgrade video player API level
